We are once again selling hoodie sweatshirts ($50), zip ups($60), long sleeve Ts($30), and knit beanie hats($30).\u00a0All proceeds go to the fireworks so we can have the best show ever!<\/div>\n<div>Lots of other fun things to do and support the fireworks as well.\u00a0Tell your friends!<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><br \/>\nAPRIL 19, 2025<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><strong>ADOPT A ROADWAY!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>Horsehead Lake Association&#8217;s first Adopt a Roadway trash pickup for the year was today. What a fun group of neighbors! It would have been a perfect day with 6 more people. So, 8 routes were completed by 10 people. Location TBD, tune radio to 103.9 FM to hear the music coordinated with the fireworks!<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>YOUNG ANGLERS FISHING TOURNAMENT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>8:30-10:00 am weigh in at sandbar. Panfish only no bass. Any child 3-15 can participate. You can pre-register name of child, age, and parent phone number by emailing me at drutter @ horseheadlake.org. I need pre-registration by July 4 at noon.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">AUGUST 9, 2025<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><strong>POKER RUN<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Starts at noon on the sandbar.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>ADOPT-A-ROADWAY<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There is an Adopt a Roadway program run through the Horsehead Lake Association. We are in our 7th year of picking up trash on roadways around the lake and can always use more hands.<br \/>\nIf you have time to help, we always like to see new participants: the next trash pick up day is Saturday July 26.<br \/>\nRoutes are no longer than 1 mile, which is 1\/2 mile in one direction and then crossing the road, 1\/2 mile back. All volunteers will have 1-2 buddies assigned to the route with them. Tune into 100.5fm, WHHL, for live music being DJ&#8217;d during the parade. We encourage those who want to participate, but don&#8217;t want to take their boat out, to go ahead and decorate their docks, decks, porches etc. Let&#8217;s Light Up Horsehead Lake!!!!!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>OCTOBER 5, 2024<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Color \/ Wine Tour<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>This is a great social event on the water. Meet at the Sandbar at 1:00pm. The idea behind it was to get together for maybe a &#8220;last&#8221; boat ride with friends and hopefully see some color. In the past, people would bring an extra bottle of wine for taste testing. It has grown over the years and is not just a wine tour. In fact, you don&#8217;t have to drink wine at all. Folks will usually prepare some sort of snacks and hors d&#8217;oeuvre&#8217;s to share while not having to worry about driving their boat.
